Christmasfest
Christmasfest is a festival meant to bring the entire community together for the holiday season. You will find events meant for all ages, Christmasfest events are provided free to the community.
The Western Rio Blanco Recreation & Park District has organized and will facilitate Christmasfest once again this year as one of Rangely’s annual festivals. I would like to share with you how very special this event is for our wonderful community. This is a time to help bring Christmas cheer and is a time for visiting with your neighbors and friends. Every event, included in Christmasfest, is free to all who participate. It does require a lot of work to put this event on as well as a considerable amount of dollars. Last year we were able to provide a Christmas concert, Carriage Rides, breakfast and a small gift during Breakfast with Santa, prizes for the Parade of Lights, the Light up Rangely contest, and the Snowflake Baby contest.

Get ready to jingle all the way to Christmafest with our ONLINE Snowflake Pet Contest! Whether you have a dashing dog, a cool cat, or any critter inbetween, we want to see them shine!

Light up your house for all to see! Enter our contest for the BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHT display in Rangely! Judging will be done on Thursday, December 11 between 7:00 and 10:00pm.

Line up is at 5:15pm at the Rangely Fire Hall. The parade will begin at 6:00pm and will travel down Main Street and end at Stanolind Ave.

We are excited to offer FREE carriage rides again this year! JR's Carriage Service will be bringing over a beautiful carriage and horses for a Christmas experience to remember. Ryan & Danna Huitt will be offering FREE chili, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and a warm fire for roasting s'mores.
On Saturday, December 13 come into the Rangely Rec Center to enjoy breakfast with your family. Have your kiddos bring their Christmas list to share with Santa. We will also have free gingerbread man decorating.
A great way to end the Christmasfest weekend! Enjoy a FREE Christmas concert by the A Capella group Vocalocity. This year the concert will be featuring the WRB Rec Center dance classes.
